Annual Spring Dinner Invitation By Saint Margaret’s Church Budapest, 3 May
Join with fellow parishioners and friends of Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church as they gather once again at the popular Kárpátia Restaurant in Pest for their annual Spring Dinner.

This is an excellent opportunity to also bring along family and friends and introduce them to the wonderful Saint Margaret's family.

The speaker for this special event will be author and educator, Annabel Barber, currently Editorial Director of the renowned Blue Guides, a hundred-year-old English-language guidebook series focusing on history, architecture and art. Annabel is also a long-time member of our Saint Margaret’s community.

“I lived in a number of countries until destiny brought me to Budapest, where I've been for over twenty years,” says Annabel, “My background is in teaching, editing and writing.”

Annabel has written quite a bit on Rome, including Pilgrim's Rome, a traveller's handbook to the Christian sites of the Eternal City. As she notes, Rome “exerts its magnetic pull on everyone.”  Annabel also published Blue Guide Budapest last year.

The Kárpátia Restaurant is a beloved Pest landmark offering excellent food and service in the best Hungarian tradition and style.  It has long been a favourite of local artists, businesspeople, and visitors.

The evening will include a three-course meal.   A donation of HUF 10.000 per person is requested at the door. If this is a challenge, a number of stipends are available.
