'Peter Pan' Musical @ Danube Palace Budapest, 19 May
The timeless story as you've never seen it before. One of the world’s most beloved family musicals, Peter Pan, will be soaring to new heights at the Duna Palota(Danube Palace) this May in a landmark production by Budapest’s own Dance Craze Academy

Celebrating the launch of the 20th anniversary year since their foundation in Budapest, Dance Craze Academy invites English speaking audiences to sail with them on a high-flying adventure away to Neverland in a production that is guaranteed to bring joy and wonderment to the young and previously young alike.

Peter Pan is a magical adaptation of much-loved tale and will transport audiences on a journey to a magical land of mermaids and fairies where children can fly and adventures happen every day. But with Captain Hook and his pirates looking for revenge, it won’t all be plain-sailing for our hero and his sidekick Tinkerbell.

Since its inception, Dance Craze Academy has been offering dance, drama and singing (all  abilities) for international and local children and teenagers. This unique opportunity to see a world-famous musical at one of Budapest’s most historical and venerated theatres, the Duna Palota (opened 1897) is an opportunity too good to be missed.

Usually home to the Danube Symphonic Orchestra and the Danube Art Ensemble, the ornate Theatre Room will instead play host to this storybook world of pirates, mermaids, and a myriad of other Neverland characters, in a production filled with charming costumes, captivating music and colourful sets.

Sandra Knibbs, DCA founder, says: “At DCA, our aim is to help every child reach their full-potential and to give them opportunities they would not otherwise have.  These experiences give life skills that can never be taken away. Our motto is 'Everyone’s a star' and we will find what makes them shine!”

”We could not pick a more perfect play than Peter Pan to start off our 20th year of celebrations. It is wonderful entertainment for the entire family and an adventure in every sense of the word.”

”This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for English speaking children who love to perform and for English speaking families who love musicals to take part in a magical production at one of Budapest’s most renowned venues”.
