Richard Ash Croft needs no introduction! An Indie legend and a major part of ‘Britpop', which shook up the music world in the 90’s.

He is considered by many to be the greatest songwriter of his era, and with songs like ‘Sonnet’, ‘Drugs Don't Work’ and ‘Lucky Man’ its easy to see why. I was fortune enough to see him at the Exeter, small venue for such an iconic artist.

In the 'Take a Stand' category, acknowledging commitment to social issues, a panel of European experts awarded Sziget for its exemplary efforts. The ceremony unfolded on January 17 in Groningen, the Netherlands.

It's been almost 10 years since a Hungarian artist has performed on the Main Stage's evening showcase at Sziget. This year, however, on August 8, Azahriah will return to the Main Stage of the Island of Freedom with a concert as a featured artist, in time for the closing performance of the day.
