40% of CEE Businesses Fear Bankruptcies Without Bailouts
According to an analysis by credit insurance company Atradius, 39% of companies in Central and Eastern Europe fear that with the expected withdrawal of government bailouts, there will be more bankruptcies this year, according to profitline.hu.

The study shows that the proportion of debts written off in the region has not changed (5%) compared to the previous year.

In CEE, half of the intercompany purchases (B2B) were on credit, the same as in 2020; the figure in Hungary was 48%.

The proportion of overdue invoices in the region improved from 45% to 43%.

The survey interviewed 1,400 Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, and Turkish companies.
