Wild Panther Sighted Near Szolnok
A creature believed to be a black panther, first seen in Kiskunhalas last month and then near Kecskemét, was photographed in an inhabited area between Szolnok and Újszász on the weekend.

An eyewitness took a picture of the panther at a distance of about 100 metres and then immediately called animal catchers.

The weather may ease their task, as recent snowfall allows them to track the animal.

According to plans, the creature will be transported to the Budapest Zoo if it is caught.

However, Jász county police told Telex on Sunday that the tracks do not suggest a large predator.

Here's a short video of the panther
