20 August Air Parade in Budapest Cancelled Due to Weather Forecast
An air parade the Hungarian Air Force was set to stage over the River Danube on the August 20 national holiday has been cancelled due to forecasts of poor weather conditions, the head of the operative group overseeing the safety aspects of the celebrations said on Friday.

Zoltán Kovács, the state secretary for international communications and relations, said in a statement that the operative board will make a decision on the August 20 fireworks display scheduled for 9pm after its meeting at noon on Saturday, he said.
