The budget airline launched the flight from Budapest to Antalya a month ago.

Wizz Air will fly between the two cities twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

CEO of Debrecen International Airport Tamás Király said the new route is important to expand the airport’s offerings, especially in the summer peak season.

The new flight confirms that Wizz Air is serious about expanding its routes from Hungary, said communications chief Zsuzsa Trubek.
