Quick Guide: 3 Days of Celebrations will Mark St. Stephen’s Day

National holiday celebrations in Budapest will span three days this year, with hundreds of programmes on offer to expats at some 20 venues from tomorrow, 18 August.

Family and children's events, a Festival of Folk Arts, pop and classical concerts, as well as traditional Hungarian cuisine and capped-price drinks are on offer again.

Festivities also include an air show, as well as the traditional fireworks display - with 34,000 set to go off between the Margaret and Petőfi bridges from 9pm on the 20th.
