By Mary Murphy: Art confuses me. I know what I like and what I don’t like, but when it comes to what period came when and which artist belonged to what movement, my ignorance is embarrassing. I couldn’t tell a Manet from a Monet were my life to depend on it.

The CAFe Budapest Contemporary Arts Festival will feature nearly 250 events, including classical music, jazz and popular music concerts, dance performances, exhibitions and literary events, at 47 venues between October 3 and 19.
