The Hungarian government plans to stop selling residency bonds, Cabinet Chief János Lázár said today, according to reports, as the program is no longer needed since the countryʼs upgrades by rating agencies. Radical nationalist party Jobbik made its support for a proposed constitutional amendment by Fidesz conditional on the cessation of sales of the bonds.

Socialist Budapest deputy Csaba Horváth said that instead of supporting the Olympic bid, the Budapest Assembly should address the issue of the capital’s “broken-down hospitals and abandoned schools”.

The new building of the Paskál Bath in Budapest is officially open. The new facility operates with seven new pools, and it is open all year round, travelo.hu reports. The 2345 square metre bath used to have only two pools.
