In Plage Romantique, Emanuel aims to explore the possibilities of a live performance with his dancers, a performance that cannot be reproduced again and again, as if it were a product. The 15 year-old Pal Frenak Company presented its performance entitled Tricks & Tracks in 1999. The basic concept of this legendary and groundbreaking production still has not lost its timeliness. In the spring of 2014 past will meet present. The company draws new lines and signs on the blank surface, while past is not forgotten, but rethought.

Skeletons in the closet, elephants in all the rooms, not to mention that ridiculous beam in my eye and the owl telling the sparrow that his head is too big, so we just break those pitchers one after the other while the poor dog overtakes from the left and of course one swallow is not enough for anything and you could buy a rose without a thorn, but that would be included in the price.

This is not the first time the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company have been featured at the Spring Festival, or have performed with a symphonic orchestra. Following their cooperation with the Hungarian National Philharmonic for a production of The Wooden Prince, with choreography by Tamás Juronics, the company now appear with the Pannon Philharmonic.
