Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi signed a memorandum of understanding in Budapest on the governments’ active support for the establishment of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Maritime Silk Road. The International Monetary Fund raised its forecast for Hungary’s economic growth in its Regional Economic Issues report. Growth could reach 2.7% this year according to the new report. The forecast was raised from 2.3% in the previous report published in October 2014. For 2016, the IMF expects growth of 2.3%.
