Olimpiai Park Budapest To Reopen Soon After 8-Month Renovation

The 10,000 square metre Olimpiai Park situated in district V just next to Kossuth tér will soon open the gates to a multifunctional urban meeting space, attractive for both visitors and residents. As part of the Észak-Lipótváros (northern part of district V) Renewal project, renovations and improvements have been going on since August 2013, and the reopening is planned for March this year.

The football match depicted took place on 25 November 1953, an international friendly match played between Hungary (then the world's number one ranked team, the Olympic champions and on a run of 24 unbeaten games) and England.
