Hungarian news site 444.hu published an article Thursday entitled “The Top Ten Most Outrageous Things Financed in the 2017 Budget. While one can certainly argue that ridiculous (and superfluous) things are financed by states around the world, it is worth pointing out here that 444‘s list looks especially outrageous when one considers the dismal state of education and health-care.

Tuesday's meeting of the Hungaricum Committee in Székesfehérvár saw the addition of four new products to the list of Hungaricums: the Csaba sausage, goose liver products, Tokaji Aszú wine and Béres Drops dietary supplement preparation. The Committee also came to a decision on the winning design for the Hungaricum trademark.
