On 20 February at the Budapest Music Center, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania, H.E. Mrs Rasa Kairienė welcomed guests: representatives from the Hungarian government, culture, business, art and science sectors, the Hungarian diplomatic corps, NGO’s and IGO’s, and the Lithuanian community in Hungary.

The Embassy of India in Hungary invited around 300 guests to celebrate the 70th Republic Day of India on January 26th in the ballroom at the Budapest Marriott Hotel.

The British International School, Budapest Drama Performance: 'A Doll's House'

This December a talented group of Secondary students performed "A Doll’s House" by Henrik Ibsen to over 120 members of the BISB community. After the triumph of 'Hobson’s Choice' last year, which was set in Salford in 1880, this year the drama was set in 19th century Norway.
Joyous Winter Concert At BISB

On Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December the British International School, Budapest (BISB) held an annual Winter Concert with over 180 students, along with teachers and parents, performing excellently on stage to the delight of the audiences.
Chain Bridge In Budapest Goes Blue & White

On Friday 30 November the Chain Bridge was lit up in the colours of the Saltire on the occasion of Saint Andrew's Day. You could also see the beautiful blue and white colours on Saturday too, as the Scottish community in Hungary held their annual St. Andrew's Ball with Scottish music and dance.
'Mitiszol?' Festival Of Natural Beverages, Millenáris Budapest, 17 November

'Mitiszol' as the Hungarian language goes, is a relatively easy one to get your head around, especially when it involves your favourite pastimes: having a drink or two. Here in the modern setting of Millenáris you could tantalise your taste buds with a great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and not. We went Saturday morning and it set up the weekend very nicely!
