A 12-hour concert in Budapest’s Sports Arena on Sept. 26, backed by a civil initiative, will be held to promote the fight against child poverty. At least 40,000 children in Hungary have no regular access to quality food, the statement said, calling on the government to prepare a new network of free meals for children to reduce this number.

The Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma will build its own brewery to produce premium beer, the abbey said in a statement. The Pannonhalma Abbey Beer Manufacture will be set up to revive an old tradition and start brewing three or four premium-category beer from the autumn.
