During a working visit to Tokyo on 3-8 March 2018, Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Economic Affairs Dr. Petra Pana took part in the Foodex Japan 2018 International Food Industry Exhibition, at which Hungarian food industry enterprises were on show with a larger than ever before national pavilion.
'Pork Show', Bálna Budapest, 25 - 26 January

A Pork Show take place in front of Bálna on the 25th and 26th of January. Over these two days, about 30 pigs from Fegyvernek that weight 150-160 kilograms will be processed. Teams can compete to make the finest sausage, while visitors get to know the steps of the process from professionals.

This annual festival featuring 250 types of spiced up meat will be held at the Hungarian Railway Museum this year. As well as lots of porky specials available along several 'Sausage Streets', there will be family programs, folklore shows, 'nostalgic music programs' and dance, plus apparently presentations of enormous sausages, during this three day special Hungarian gastro event.
