Pancho Aréna, the new football stadiumfootball stadium in the village of Felcsút, Fejér county, will open this coming Easter Monday. The stadium’s name comes from the Spanish nickname for legendary footballerfootballer Ferenc Puskás, after whom the football academy Puskás Ferenc Labdarúgó Akadémia (PFLA), also in Felcsút, was named.

The statue of Béla Guttmann, the Hungarian coach who guided Benfica to two successive Champion Teams’ European Cup wins, was unveiled in Lisbon on Friday. The statue, which depicts the legendary trainer holding the two cups, was set up at a gate of Estadio da Luz on the 110th anniversary of the foundation of the club, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Zsolt Németh told MTI over the phone.

The skier finished with a time of 1:42.28 after Lotte Smiseth Sejersted from Norway. Miklós, born in Szekler Land, Romania, is so far the 16-strong Hungarian olympic team’s most successful sportswoman.
