Budapest will host the European Table Tennis Championships in 2016, the Hungarian Table Tennis Federation said. The related decision was announced by the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) in Riva del Garda, Italy, on Sunday.

Budapest will be transformed into a capital for exercise instead of being a capital for parties on one night at the end of June, state secretary for health Miklós Szócska said. The first “Night of Exercise” will be held from 10pm on June 28 to 4am the next morning and may be attended free of charge, he told a press conference.
