You will have overall accountability for the performance of the Private Practice global business in general, with stronger emphasis on the European realm, and also for the development of strategy and managing implementation within the context of the overall European and Global business plan and will be working as a member of the senior management team, making significant contribution to the bottom line. As a core member of the team you will be responsible for: Initiating, developing and retaining Legalis relationships with the highest level of discretion and professionalism Employing your professional and market knowledge to geographically grow and amplify Legalis’ market penetration and share Using your comprehensive knowledge and understanding in all of the private practice areas, to lead local and international projects Establishing and accomplishing business objectives by researching opportunities and presenting strategies and delivery plans Coordinating activities worldwide with senior team members Identifying and solving matters that are new, complex and strategic in nature and which typically involve major changes for the entire private practice business while translating them into ideas and business development know-how for Legalis Management of multiple simultaneous projects and growth of the private practice division Enforcing highly ethical business practices, and compliance with laws and regulations. The requirements for this role are: You are a lawyer with extensive intrinsic knowledge of the legal industry and a recognised business expert seeking a career change, who will provide support to and manage a team of dedicated fee-earning consultants, and will work to provide in-depth advice, guidance and quality recruitment services to existing and future clients and candidates; you must enjoy the dynamic environment associated with legal recruitment ecosystem You must prove a strong business development acumen, high level financial management skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate clear impact on bottom line through an extreme commercial focus You are a creative, autonomous and determined individual, capable of guiding entrance into and growth of new markets You will have a sociable persona with fluency in English and perfect command of the legal vernacular. You must enjoy coaching, mentoring and helping others achieve more effective performance. Significant travel may be required. Compensation is highly incentive based, does not have an expatriate package, therefore the job requires strong self-motivation and organisational skills.
