Hospital Pharmacies in Hungary May Soon Be Privatised
The state-run pharmacies in state-run hospitals may be outsourced into a private concession within months, Portfolio reports.

The government measure would create a private monopoly of the annual Ft 350 billion market, which accounts for about a third of the entire Ft 1.05 trillion annual drug market in Hungary, including over-the-counter products, according to healthcare market analyst József Bodrogi.

The concession procedure will be handled by the Cabinet Office.
