'Continental Singers & Orchestra', National Concert Hall Budapest, 14 September
"The Hungarian Continental Singers are one of the best-known names in Hungarian modern Christian music. Their music has a serious message, delivered in many styles but always with sophistication. At this unique jubilee concert, they have their first opportunity to perform the most successful songs of the 25 year history and 10 albums with their largest ever chorus accompanied by a large orchestra.

The artists this evening are all familiar names in other musical activities and made up of singers and musicians who have participated in the Continental Singer s’ tours over the past two and a half decades.

Their story began in 1967 and the first group rapidly developed into one of the world’s largest musical organisations which toured 76 countries. Their Hungarian splinter group, the Hungarian Continental Singers operates as a foundation and their historical antecedents stretch back to 1985.

The concert will present over 20 songs. This exceptional production will cast light on some unknown details from their history. The performance will be augmented with other artistic elements and innovations and is a must for those who know the Continental’s albums, and for those who wish to have a glimpse into the world of modern Christian music and arts.
