Voices From the Plain of Jars: Life Under An Air War, has been called "the most important book to emerge from the Indochina war" by historian Al McCoy because it is the only one written by the peasants of Indochina.

Book was instrumental in exposing the bombing, the book has just been republished and its author Fred Branfman will read excerpts from the peasant's moving essays at the Nyitott Muhely on 8th of June, 2013 at 18.00. Branfman, whose has written for the NY Times, Harper's Magazine and most other major U.S. publications, will also discuss the implications of U.S. Executive Secret war in Laos then and now.
