Jobbik Wants Work-Free December 24 In Hungary
Jobbik is moving to get Parliament to declare December 24 a holiday, spokesman Ádám Mirkóczki announced on Thursday. He said an amendment to that effect could meet “a decades-long social need” as little serious work is done in the vast majority of workplaces on December 24.

As there is no substantive production on that day, such a measure would not cause any serious loss of revenues to the budget, he argued.
