Juhász Says CBA Is The Company Behind NAV Scandal In Hungary
There is a strong suspicion that “the NAV case is about CBA,” which is an “adamant Fidesz supporter” Together co-president Péter Juhász said yesterday. The retail chain rejected the accusation as “malicious and unsubstantiated” and said it will report the Together-Dialogue alliance for slander.

Juhász said transparency website atlatszo.hu had drawn attention to a Ft 3.5 billion VAT scam committed in Gy r county two years ago, involving a consortium and owners associated with CBA by several links.

The “model” reported there “bears a striking resemblance” to the tax fraud method outlined by former tax official András Horváth in his allegations that large companies are tacitly permitted to avoid VAT payments, Juhász added.
