Hungary Guest Nights Climb 13.5% In January

The number of guest nights in commercial accommodation in Hungary rose an annual 13.5 percent to 1,096,000 in January, the Central Statistical Office said. The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors rose 11.2% to 566,527. The number spent by Hungarian guests climbed 16% to 529,143.
Russians spent 82,078 guest nights at commercial accommodations, more than any other nationality. Visitors from Germany spent 64,738 and Austrian tourists spent 47,966.
