Protest For Action Against Corruption In Budapest
Some 3,000 people demanded more effective action against corruption at a demonstration in Budapest Sunday afternoon. Together co-president Péter Juhász accused the government of corruption and reiterated that the protesters “will not allow Hungary to be stolen”.

He said the biggest problem is that “Fidesz has absorbed the state” and that is why the National Bureau of Investigations will not investigate.

Authorities have repeatedly refused to act on his complaints related to the suspicious sales of properties in the Fifth District.

Juhász called Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “the prince of thieves” and repeatedly accused him of lies.

The demonstrators marched along Andrássy út to Aradi utca behind a poster with the caption “We shall stop corruption”, while demanding Orbán’s resignation.
