1. What’s been happening at work and at home since your first Xpat Interview?

A lot had happened and productively.

2. On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you with your life in Hungary, and why?

I’ll give it a 10. It’s a pleasant country to work and live as a diplomat.

3. What’s the best party you’ve been to while in Hungary, and why?

Parties with friends. We can be ourselves.

4. What’s your favourite drink?

Orange juice for breakfast and black coffee for the day.

5. What hidden talents do you have?

Self-defining, I can do some if not many other things musical, design, cooking etc.

6. What was the most interesting travel trip you have ever taken?

The one that I backpack and start driving from one place to another and observe rural life.

7. If you were given a wish that could come true, what would you ask for?

Perhaps to start a farm.

8. What’s the last book you read, and movie you watched?

How the World Thinks by Julian Baggini and The Creator.

9. If someone wrote a biography about you, what would the title be?

The Lucky Wanderer.

10. What is the perfect pizza toppings combination for you?

Balsamic salad and “Sambal Ikan Bilis”.

11. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be?

Myself, 30 years ago.

12. On a scale of 1 to 10 how unusual are you, and why?

I don’t see myself as unusual. Maybe other people do.

13. What’s the best website you’ve ever visited, and why?

No preference, just a daily habit to scroll and read through major news portals.

14. Who do you admire the most, and why?

My son. At a very young age, he is determined to make his life meaningfully successful by throwing himself into the unknown.

15. What do you like best and least about living in Hungary?

I can safely walk everywhere but unfortunately; I need a license to cast fishing rod.

16. What has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?

The support extended by kind people. Everybody knows why.

17. If you won USD 30 million, what would you do with the money?

Start a farm, employ poor jobless youth, and take them out of poverty.

18. If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

Original Sabahan by Atmosfera.

19. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

Sabah, the land below the wind.

20. In ten years from now what will you be doing?

I’ll be a retired man by then, harvesting my own grown vegetables and fish.
