Although Hungary has made progress in the implementation of the CoE’s Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings, the country’s authorities should make further efforts to improve assistance to victims of human trafficking, the Council of Europe’s GRETA group of experts said in a report.

For the first time, Hungarian researchers have shown how smoking contributes to the development of chronic pancreatitis and why it may be responsible for persistent inflammation. Semmelweis University announced its latest joint research results of with the University of Szeged and the University of Pécs in Budapest to national and international representatives of the scientific field.
