The Roma heroes of Hungary’s 1956 anti-Soviet revolution and the Roma victims of the Holocaust will be remembered in the Budapest House of Terror museum on Friday, International Roma Day. Guests will launch a textbook presenting the history of the Roma Holocaust through personal accounts and memories to the Hungarian youth, director of research Márton Békés said.
