A 12-hour concert in Budapest’s Sports Arena on Sept. 26, backed by a civil initiative, will be held to promote the fight against child poverty. At least 40,000 children in Hungary have no regular access to quality food, the statement said, calling on the government to prepare a new network of free meals for children to reduce this number.
