The number of students attending church schools in Hungary has almost doubled over the past six years, the daily Magyar Nemzet reported. The number has risen from around 112,000 to over 200,000. At the same time, the number of church schools has risen by around two-thirds.

31 percent of Hungarians aged 20-39 still live with their parents, reports news site Magyar Nemzet citing data from Hungary’s Central Statistical Office (KSH). According to the data, the number of adults in this age group living with their parents in 1990 was around 459,000. This number had increased to 819,000 by 2001 and is currently 883,000.
