Hungary is ready to scrap the legislation on foreign-funded NGOs, and has sent a draft amendment to the statute to the European Commission, Justice Minister Judit Varga said on Friday, reacting to the EC’s announcement that it was launching an infringement procedure against Hungary over the matter.

One of the highlights of this years' Volkswagen-Dining Guide Award Gala was a new category in which the Dining Guide Römerquelle Sustainability Award was given to the restaurant that implemented a real farm-to-table concept in their operations. The first winner of this to-be-annual award is Pajta, from the small town of Őriszentpéter next to the Slovenian border.
