Index.hu reports that the Haszon Magazine, through a new method, compiled a list of the 100 best Hungarian doctors. The Thursday (July 7) issue of the magazine lines up the most excellent doctors of each specialization area – from ear, nose and throat specialists to gynaecologists, and gastroenterologists – chosen by the professionals.
Hungarian Government To Raise Health-Care Wages In September

The government has reached an agreement with health-care unions on raising base salaries in the sector starting in September this year, the human resources minister announced on Thursday. The base salary of doctors and pharmacists will increase by gross 107,000 forints (EUR 344) from September 1 this year and by another 100,000 forints from November 1, 2017, Zoltán Balog told a press conference.

Clear divisions are needed between hospital beds operated with health care and social needs, Health State Secretary Zoltán Ónodi-Szűcs told commercial TV2. They received preliminary medical care at a health screening centre at a border police station, he said. The results of tests can be expected in 48-72 hours, he added.
