Gov’t Offers Work To Hunger Marchers In Hungary
"Local governments state secretary András Tállai on Tuesday awaited the hunger marchers walking from Miskolc to Budapest with food and snow shovels in Mezőkövesd, offering to provide bread to those willing to shovel snow.

Some of the marchers cleared some snow, according to reports.

LMP politicians Bernadett Szél and Gábor Vágó joined the group of about 50 at Mezőnyárádi and walked for 12 kilometres.

The hunger marchers set off from Miskolc on Monday and want to get the government to face up to the increasingly difficult position of many residents outside Parliament in Budapest next Monday.

The demonstrators had covered 60 kilometres by Tuesday evening."
