Moderate Shallow Earthquake In Hungary On Tuesday Night – Felt As Far As Budapest
The earthquake was also felt in Debrecen. All the seismological agencies are reporting a depth of 10 km which is very shallow. Depending on the underground and the soil type the shaking may generate some slight damage. A moderate earthquake struck near Dormand but was widely felt in the country. In Budapest mostly as a slight shaking. Epicenter below Erdotelek.

EMSC and Geofon are reporting a focal depth of only 10 km which can lead to cracks in walls, fallen objects etc. We do however not expect serious damage if the current parameters are correct.
