Hungarian Ministry Dismayed By Russia Ban
The Russian ban on food products from the EU and elsewhere is regrettable, as it will harm both EU producers and Russian consumers, and could have a negative impact on bilateral economic relations, the Foreign Ministry said in a Thursday statement.

Russia on Thursday ordered a 12-month ban on imports of meat fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, cheese, milk and dairy products from the EU, the US, Australia, Canada and Norway, in retaliation against those countries that are applying sanctions against Russia.

The foreign ministry said it expects Russia to honour its obligations resulting from its WTO membership.
