Hungarian Origo Zrt. Fires CEO
Origo Zrt., owner of the on-line news portal origo.hu, announced today the departure of CEO Miklós Vaszily. The deputy CEO of Origo Zrt. owner Magyar Telekom responsible for business development has also been let go. No reason was given for their termination.

A number of origo.hu journalists resigned in protest earlier this year over the sacking of editor-in-chief Gergő Sáling. Six of them currently work for Beacon sister publication abcug.hu.
