Explanation for Everything: Reisz's New Hungarian Film to Debut at Venice Film Festival
Gábor Reisz’s new feature film, Explanation for Everything, will debut as part of the official programme of the Venice International Film Festival held from Aug. 30 to Sept. 9.

The film was selected to screen in the Orizzonti (Horizons) section, featuring films representing the newest trends of aesthetics and expression, the distributor, Cirko Film, said.

Reisz’s third film is the story of a young boy navigating the world of school-leaving exams and young love in a divided society.

The film written by Gábor Reisz and Éva Schulze was made in cooperation with the Slovak audiovisual fund, and the main roles are played by Gáspár Adonyi-Walsh, István Znamenák, András Rusznák and Rebeka Hatházi.

Hungarian cinemas will screen the film from Oct. 5, with two pre-viewings on Sept. 22 and 23.
