Watch: Magyar Movie 'Explanation for Everything' Wins Venice Horizons Gong
“Explanation for Everything” by Hungarian film director Gábor Reisz has won “Best Film” in the Horizons section at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, the film’s distributor, Cirko Film said.

The film co-written by Éva Schulze is Reisz’s third feature. Explanation for Everything will be on general release in Hungary from Oct. 5.

Reisz’s third film is the story of a young boy navigating the world of school-leaving exams and young love in a divided society.

The film was made in cooperation with the Slovak audiovisual fund, and the main roles are played by Gáspár Adonyi-Walsh, István Znamenák, András Rusznák and Rebeka Hatházi.
