I spend half my life in Budapest and half in central London. I call myself am artist these days as it incorportes all the things I do, such as performing in an English comedy play though this April and early May with Equus Productions at Picasso Point in Hajos utca and selling my designer jewellery made of buttons at the Wamp shows and Rhododrendron Art gallery as well as in London, also a little teaching and writing, interior design, and Antiques and Art Appraising which is my qulaified profession.

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
As soon the Wall came down, visited with my homesick Mother who left in 1956.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
No

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
Missing link in my background.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Opera, the Danube and a fleamarket.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Tök fözelék (Creamed Marrow with Dill)

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Fresh milk for English Tea.

7.What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Padlizsán - aubergine

8. What do you miss most from home?
The food, fresh greens, cheddhar cheese, salads, Helmans mayonnaise, etc.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
I pursue all my dream careers, but ultimately to be a novelist.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
To be in a sterile office corporate 9 to 5 job.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Tour of India, Goa to Kolcutta, and then on to Darjeeling in foothills of Himalyas.

12. Where do you hope to spend your next holiday?
Lake Geneva for a wedding of another half-Hungarian friend.

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
The Doors, 'A Man a Woman and a Bank' with Donald Sutherland and swimming.

14. What can't you resist?
Talking and flirting

15. Red wine or white?
Sweet White Dessert wines, but my regular tipple is brown beer, and when I am celebrating 'Black Velvet's (Guinness and Champagne)

16. Book or movie?
Book

17. Morning person or night person?
Night

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Inequalities in all social issues.

19. Buda or Pest side?
Pest

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
If you need something done, ask a busy woman!
