We would like to introduce you an unconventional conference, the TEDxDanubia. This is the first official, independently organized TEDx event in Hungary based on the legendary TED conferences. The festival was established in 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers in order to fill a gap in the category of short film, but over the years it became clear that it was about much more. The international breakthrough came rapidly on the 3rd festival in 2007 when shorts were screened from 45 countries.

The Last Happy Day, a 37-minute film by Lynne Sachs. Screening followed by film discussion with visiting New York filmmake. The 2009 film by Lynne Sachs is a portrait of a doctor who saw the worst of society and ran. The Last Happy Day is an experimental documentary portrait of Sandor (Alexander) Lenard, a Hungarian medical doctor and a distant cousin of filmmaker Lynne Sachs.
