The British International School, Budapest Celebrates Opening Ceremony Of Expanded Campus

The British International School, Budapest announced today the opening of its newly renovated and expanded campus. An additional 3000 m2 has been added to the existing 6000 m2 campus with a new secondary wing to accommodate the growing school. These new facilities make The British International School, Budapest one of the most modern and advanced schools in the capital.

Throughout most of the 20th century, neon lights were the sign of progress and modernity – and behind the Iron Curtain, the illusion of it. The photographer and author Enikö Nagy has spent several years collecting everyday moments - in photography and spoken word - from over 45 tribes and ethnic groups across 30,000km of Sudan, in some of the hardest-to-access regions of the world, to produce the English-Arabic bilingual poetic picture book SAND IN MY EYES: Sudanese Moments, that this exhibition is drawn from.
