The Centre for Budapest Transport (BKK) has published images of the first Solaris-Skoda trolley bus that has arrived to the capital, which will be followed by a fleet of further 20 single-unit and 16 articulated vehicles to serve District XIV and the city centre. The increased number of low-floor vehicles is meant to improve accessibility on the routes, BKK writes.

In the framework of the vehicle stock development project launched as part of the programme of Mayor István Tarlós, hybrid buses are oprated along lines 5, 7, and 9 during all the week round since 1st March.
