Budapest has been selected to host the official celebrations of this year’s World Tourism Day on Sept. 27, under a decision of the United Nations’ World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).

Here's a quick summary of what will be officially going on from Friday until Sunday, the 'National Holiday of the Foundation of the Hungarian State'. Included is info about an 'Air and Water Parade' in the front of Parliament, a 'Street of Hungarian Flavours', concerts at Clark Ádám Square, and the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, plus a fair few fireworks.

Every year since 2013 this special cultural day has been celebrated in Hungary. It's an annual occasion when institutions from all over the world join together to create a series of events to showcase this unique art scene of the turn of the century.

Michael is an interdisciplinary artist born to Irish/Polish/Lithuanian parents and raised in the UK. His artistic calling has driven him to write, publish, photograph, compose, perform and design his latest project “Józefa's Letters – Extraction From Oblivion”. He has created this exhibition and has been created from it.
