Budapest Strings Celebrating Founder With Birthday Concert on 28 December

At the end of December, the Bartók-Pásztory Prize-winning Budapest Strings will pay tribute to their founder and artistic director, Károly Botvay, with a musical tribute. This year's soloist is the internationally acclaimed young cellist Dóra Kokas, a multiple competition winner. The ensemble's concertmaster will once again be János Pilz.

Consumer prices in Hungary were 7.9% higher in November than in the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Friday. Month on Month, prices were flat, though the price of vehicle fuels fell by 3.6%.
