I have a BA in foreign trade. I speak English and German fluently, and some French as well. Before I took long maternity leave, I worked for a number of Hungarian banks (CIB, Creditanstalt, Unicredit) as deputy treasurer.

Several experiences of longer or shorter periods abroad (England, Greece, Italy) made it possible to understand the life of expats, that feeling of uncertainty, being far away from families and friends.

Dr. Katalin Varga was initially denied a university place back in 1977 since her father worked at the US Embassy in Budapest and so her family were considered a 'political risk'. Therefore she started work with a technical firm and learnt computer skills from practical experience.
