Tour planner, organizer, guide and “energizer” at Danube Destinations. My favorite part of work is when I see my plans become someone else’s travel experience. A well planned program at the office is nothing without seeing the excitement and happiness in the eyes of my travellers.

1. What’s been happening at work and at home since your first Xpat Interview?
I left my museum-mania life in Budapest, retired and moved to beautiful Kapolcs Village in the Arts Valley in Northern Balaton. Was initially busy renovating and restoring an old ruin on a vineyard estate. Sometimes questioning my sanity, wearing wellies and knee deep in compost!

I am a retired photographer living in Kapolcs, having left Hungary in 1956, eventually arriving in the City of Chicago, my home base for the next 35 years. I repatriated in 1996 with a large archive of prints and negatives from 30 years of a very diverse photographic career.
