The St Andrew's Ball is now an established Scottish entry into the year’s social calendar - thanks to lots of hard work by the St Andrew's Association team, it's becoming a well-oiled machine. Held at the Budapest Marriott Hotel last Saturday, in the main ballroom this year, it was a 'full house' expat community event.

Hungary’s capital is the world’s eighth best place to retire, according to a research shared by US news portal cnbc.com. In Budapest, you can “reinvent your life, chase adventure, have a great time and most likely reduce your cost of living dramatically”, says the publisher of the Overseas Retirement Index.
