Dunapest Festival has been an exciting series of cultural and urban events in Budapest since 2016. The festival adds a new color to the domestic cultural palette of the city. The 10th anniversary of Budapest Jazz Club’s success and operation is a giant step for the club and the Hungarian jazz scene, owing to the contribution of the club’s owners and colleagues, the performers, organizers, and last, but not least: the audience. Running for a decade now, Budapest Jazz Club is the longest active and currently the oldest jazz club in Budapest.

Tarlós: City Council To Continue Supporting Festival Orchestra

The Budapest city council will in the future continue to support the Budapest Festival Orchestra to the extent that its budget permits, Budapest Mayor István Tarlós said. Last month, the Municipal Assembly voted to cut funding for the orchestra by 200 million forints (EUR 940,000) to 60 million.
